Workshops in WA

In October 2007, Perth Studio Potters had invited me to run two days workshops for them. They also organise another two days workshop for me at and Bunbury Studio Potters in Bunbury. They also organise a little trip for me to visit studio of well-known potter/ceramic artists around the area.

I would like to thank you Caroline for her wonderful support and Fleur and Richard for a fabulous hospitality.

I would like to share my experience with you all.

Perth

After 4 hours in the air, I finally arrive at Perth. I stay at SODA - Sculptural Objects and Design Australia, the premier ceramic residency in  Fremantle, Western Australia. Fleur Schell, an prominent ceramic artist, is running the place.  Fleur took me around the town and visit many places.

Kings Park

Here you will see Aspects of Kings Park, a showcase retail environment for the highest quality contemporary Australian craft and design. Arguably Perth's most unique retail outlet.

Along the river

Fleur took me on a bike ride along the river behind SODA to experience the beauty of Freemantle and to see all the stylish houses around the area. I think these houses need ceramic arts to complete the picture!
