OPENING

A Secret History of Blue and White in Beijing

The show was open on Sunday 24 Sep 2007 around 3.00 pm. Quite a few people attended including many Australian artists who are currently resident in Beijing.

The show looks really good. Lighting is perfect. We have the whole space for ourselves .....so plenty of space around each work.

I found people are very interested in the work especially students. They can not take their eyes of the work while we were setting up. Many of them also attended the opening.

Janaline Oh,  (Public Affairs and Culture Counsellor) opened the show. I also give a little speech, thanking many people on behalf of all the artists. The president of the Beijing University also give a little speech to open the show as well but I lost his business card so I could not recall his name...sorry :(
