Love Wins 2019

Love Wins was a crowd-sourced and social-media generated installation.

To create it, the artist posted a question on his social media accounts: “How do you express your love?” The responses he received were varied and unique, ranging from expressions such as “olive juice” or “your cape is showing.”

Srivilasa used these answers to create distinctive watercolour paintings, which were then installed on the walls of the SAC Gallery in Bangkok. As a curatorial decision, Srivilasa kept the sexuality and gender of the quotes ambiguous.
