Melbourne-based Thai-Australian artist Vipoo Srivilasa is among Australia’s most recognised ceramic artists, with nearly three decades of practice and work held in the National Gallery of Australia and major international collections. His practice spans contemporary ceramics, public art and participatory projects, with major presentations including the Asia Pacific Triennial at QAGOMA, Dark Mofo and MONA.

Recognised for his leadership in participatory ceramics and cross-cultural storytelling, Vipoo draws on European porcelain figurines and Asian deity statues to explore queerness, spirituality, belonging and emotional experience through an artistic language that is accessible, positive and beautiful.
