Swamp Monsters Are Coming to Wyndham Art Gallery!

I’m very excited to announce my new exhibition, Swamp Monsters, opening at Wyndham Art Gallery on Saturday 31 October 2026!

Curated by Nicola Bryant, Swamp Monsters is a playful and interactive exhibition created especially for children. Inspired by the fascinating creatures and ecosystems of the Wyndham wetlands, the exhibition invites young visitors to explore a world of imagination, creativity and transformation.

Children can dress up as wetland creatures and make their own Swamp Monster masks, transforming themselves into something part bird, part platypus or perhaps something completely new!

The exhibition celebrates the wonderful wildlife found in the local wetlands, including the internationally significant Western Treatment Plant, which provides a habitat for birds travelling from around the world.

Through play and creativity, I hope to encourage children to become curious about their local environment and develop a sense of care for the creatures and places around them.

It has been a pleasure working with curator Nicola Bryant again, following our previous collaboration on Marvellous Mythical Mates.

Thank you to Sai Wai Foo for her contribution to Swamp Monsters as costume designer and maker.
Bigh thank you to the wonderful team at Wyndham Art Gallery for making this project possible.

Join us for the opening on Halloween!

The exhibition opens on Saturday 31 October, and everyone is welcome to come along, explore the exhibition and make their own monster mask. A perfect Halloween activity for the whole family!
