Totems Project 2007-12

During my Artist in School residencies, I worked with students to create a series of blue-and-white porcelain totems.

Using hand-forming and traditional blue-and-white painting techniques, students explored their cultural backgrounds and identities while contributing to a shared group artwork.

It was a rewarding experience to guide their creativity and see individual ideas come together as something meaningful and collective.

Creation, 2012-2013 is a collaboration between students from Sacred Heart Primary School, Francesca Frederic, Visual Arts Specialist Teacher, and Vipoo Srivilasa.

Continent, 2011-12 is a collaboration between students from Scotch College Junior School, Priscilla Williams, Head of Junior Art, and Vipoo Srivilasa.

Friendship Stones, 2027 is a collaboration between students from Presbyterian Ladies’ College, Robin Pitt, Head of Art, and Vipoo Srivilasa.
