I developed Always Better Together after Melbourne’s extended COVID-19 lockdowns, when I experienced the absence of close companionship with friends and family firsthand.
Although some people were able to move on quickly from social isolation, for others the emotional effects continued long after restrictions ended.
Through this series, I reflect on my belief that life is better experienced with the support of loved ones, celebrating togetherness and the importance of human connection in helping us navigate difficult times.
