The Tangible Tales, 2022

Art Jakarta 2022 , Jakarta
Presented by SAC Gallery, Bangkok
26-28 August 2022

As a Thai-born artist living in Melbourne, I see multiculturalism and the migration experience as rich sources of inspiration.

In The Tangible Tales, presented at Art Jakarta in 2022, I created ceramic characters inspired by Thai myths and wider Southeast Asian literature. Garuda and Nagas appear alongside my own imagined ghosts, elves and gods.

I re-imagine these stories through my own visual language, creating ceramic narratives filled with epic battles, romance and supernatural encounters for audiences to interpret in their own way.
