Red-eared Slider / เต่าเเก้มเเดง, 2016

In Red-eared Slider, I explore the environmental impact of invasive species, focusing on the red-eared slider turtle.

Native to the United States but now found in countries including Thailand and Australia, the turtle competes with native freshwater species for resources and can introduce diseases.

I use the red-eared slider as a symbol of human disregard for the environment. My sculptures remain intentionally silent, communicating instead through body language and decoration while reflecting on cultural identity and the fragile relationship between people and nature.
