Lion Dance 2025

In Lion Dance, I celebrate the energy, movement and symbolism of the traditional Foshan lion dance, reinterpreting it through my own visual language, colour palette and decorative approach.
Standing approximately 2.2 metres high, the pair of sculptures hold the moon and the earth, symbolising balance and harmony. Created for the lobby of a residential building designed by Zaha Hadid Architects, the works bring together traditional cultural references with a playful and contemporary presence.
